Hey all! Here's a neat example of a movie app onboarding. Select movies you've enjoyed, then flick through the ones playing nearby. It features horizontal scrolling effects, smooth staggered animations and a colourful parallax effect. I’ve tried to keep it below 200 lines, so it's easy for beginners to dive in and learn new tricks.

Fantastic use of transitional gradients – great design and UI overall. Can't wait to take a look at this. Note that for whatever reason framer throws a "script error" in the web/share view. Not quite sure what it's about.

If I had to find something to try and improve, it might be finding some way to draw attention to the "Get Started" once at least one movie is selected. Being at the edge of the frame, and without any button target, users might miss it.

Maybe it could shimmer or jiggle slightly every time a movie is selected? or Maybe an arrow glides up from the bottom to align with the right margin of the text once something is selected? But I am really going out of my way now to pick on something – again, this looks really great. Thanks for sharing.

How did you work this out? The gradients are all sitting on top of each other and just transition their opacity's as you scroll, but where did you get this idea from? I had no idea you could use opacities in this way.
I'm still kinda baffled by how it's working. Genius!
