Hi all, a recent project has me writing a prototype that is +1k lines and the editor is starting to lag frequently which is making it difficult to work. Does anyone know of a solution to this?

Yes! It would be really helpful if you could share your prototype so I can investigate.
Is it slow when typing or mostly when saving? Do you use code folds? Does it help to move code into modules?

Recently sent Eelco a shorter prototype than this that was behaving in a similar way. Laggy when typing and freezing up the dev tool and preview canvas. Feel free to take a look at that too if it helps.

Thanks a lot! I will definitely take a look!
Thomas: Framer was designed, but definitely not optimized (yet) for working with large codebases. That's one of the things I'm trying to fix :)

Hmmm, looks strange. Got few prototypes about 2 – 3 K + lines of code and it works well with no any lags except prototype preview – it takes a bit of time for reload / refresh. (Yes, any huge prototype is freaking laggy on any Android device and OK on iOS) Always trying to keep code clear and split it to blocks such as: Layers / variables / functions etc. and then Fold it
