I have implemented a long press affordance, based on code from

I'm attempting to make it a module that works anywhere. Unfortunately, when i'm trying to use it on a layer with the html property set, the touch events run amok. see this example.

Clicking into the HTML text results in the resulting touch circles' midX and midY being computed incorrectly, due to the event fields (seemingly) corresponding to the block of HTML, and not the layer itself.

Is this expected, or a bug? How might i work around it?
