Hey guys,

I'm working on some modules for a project. How do I use images in modules? I can't seem to reach a project's images folder from within the module for some reason. Any best practices?

Thanks!

Hi Francois, this should ‘just work’. For the image property of the layer, you pass the path relative to the .framer folder. (If you drop an image onto Framer it will be put into the ‘images’ subfolder by default, so the path will be ‘images/name-of-the-file.png’.) Can you share a small example where it does not work as expected?

Another useful technique in some cases is that you can convert an image to a base64 string and include the image data directly in your module's coffee file. Not sure if it's helpful in your case, but if it is there's lots of tools and info online - I'm on the bus, otherwise I'd find some specific links.
