Hey everyone, I'd love to announce that Auto-Code Animation is now live in Framer!

You can now create and refine awesome animations using the new Animation Panel and live preview, all while Framer writes the code for you. For quick iteration, we’ve even added in-canvas playback controls.

We’ve spent a lot of time perfecting this feature, and we’re really excited to see what you’ll create with it. Watch the product video and read the full announcement here:

Introducing Auto-Code Animation seems to be something I will use a lot once I get the hang of Framer JS. It's awesome!

This is awesome. 2 questions:

- Can we eventually use this same workflow to create / animate states? I think a lot of us use states more often than the animate method.

- Could we use these kind of controls to adjust animations that were already made by hand?

Thanks for all your work!!

Anyone else experiencing problems getting device frames to display in the preview window after this update?

Gregory J. Orton

Is this an update or do we get it automatically by updating the library?

Yeseul lee

I had updated!! but I can't see animation option panel. It doesn't seem to work.

Loving the animations panel. Now that I've been using it for a bit, one humble opinion: I do feel like the sliders are a bit on the short side, particularly the tension one. Currently the smallest increment I can adjust the tension by with the slider seems to be 15-20-ish which is a tad on the crude side for me. I'd find it much more comfortable if sliders with ranges in the hundreds were on their own row below the input box so they could take up the whole width of the panel.

Curve editor is amazing. I used to go to and copy and paste to framer, now I can just stay in app and fine tune that curve!
