Here's something I find extremely useful to provide alternate designs inside a prototype without duplicating the entire Framer project (hence avoiding the subsequent pain to maintain multiple codebases): Using window.location.hash.

Here's an example:

This prototype displays different layers depending on what it finds on the URL:

Yeah this is super handy. You can also change the folder name and reference that for external assets and such for pointers to a URL or something.
