Is there a better way to record prototypes than Quicktime? Possibly at their original pixel resolution instead of being scaled in the browser? I'm looking for the highest quality recording, irrespective of file size. Thanks!

The only ways I can think about are with a Retina display or with a very very large monitor so you can record it at 100% scale

Maybe run the prototype on a phone and do a QuickTime screen capture? You'd just lose seeing the touch event.

If you're prototyping for iOS you could also open the prototype on the device and then hook the device up to QuickTime through lightning. That might be the closest to 1:1 that you can get.

I'm prototyping for desktop so recording on phone isn't required. I'll try a bigger display. Thanks for all the suggestions!
