Im getting really poor performance in the preview window... frames per second slow way down as I move from one state to another... wondering if this is a common occurrence since I'm very new to Framer JS. Enjoying learning the tool so far

Shouldn't be. I can take a look privately if you want.

What version are you using?

Paul Kooi

Demo version 68. I'm happy to share it with you no problem

Or just post it here. Either way I'm headed to the BMX track soon so... Be quick. ;)

is it only on a specific project or every project?

He was animating width and height at the same time to scale up. I changed it to scale and it was much much better.

Yep thanks Jordan for the assistance. Is there a good resource for performance optimization within Framer?

I don't believe so... It's all in my head. It's mostly anything that is GPU accelerated in HTML and CSS however.
