Hey Framers,

We love checking out all the innovative prototypes our community creates and shares. But we thought our sharing mechanisms could use a little love. So we went back to the drawing board and created a sleeker interface, along with a rich media preloader, helpful hints, customizable metadata and social sharing cards.

That's cool, but I'm often doing fullscreen prototypes for web UIs. An option to collapse/expand the info panel would be handy.

You can click the [x] and it will remember per project. I guess we can also add an option to totally get rid of it, if enough of you want it. Although we have to sell some copies too :-)

The Project Info and Hints are great updates! But I hope both of them can be turned off. Because let's not forget the original purpose of building prototypes, to test and iterate. So while the Project Info and Hints are super helpful for sharing works, they could be distracting if I'm testing the prototype in front of people.

Koen Bok

You can turn both hints and preloading of really easy: http://framerjs.com/docs/#extras.extras

Finally you did it :)

Koen Bok Is there any way to set this as if the [x] has been pressed, ie. closed by default? I understand you need to sell copies and I'm fine with promoting that I made the prototype in Framer, but the link for Open in Framer seems to distract people during user tests. They think that's a required part of using the prototype.

Will this permanently disable 'open in framer' feature for past posts? I have a small archive of community posts I wanted to study/learn from once I got the basics down but it seems like I can only view them without the option to download and view the code.

Katherine Martinez

is there a way to position the made with framer button? I currently have prototype which is not using a device and the button appears right over the logo which i have in top left corner
