I'm trying to help a friend with a solution to drop coffee through a mask. I thought if the mask shape was a triangle it would clip the animation behind it to that shape. I am not sure if my code is correct however... as I appear to be doing it wrong.

(I'm still learning).

Hey Nick Hanigan,

This happens because the mask is not the image but the layer called mask. You can also see this when you check it in the layer inspector.

For this specific animation it's probably best to use a SVG animation → https://medium.com/framer-prototyping/working-with-svg-paths-in-framer-43d3c2d08adc
