What is the best way to animate style properties such as font weight or color in Framer? I considered the following options:

1. Using style as one of the properties being animated. But only numeric properties seem to be animatable and style isn't one of them.
2. Creating different states for bold and regular text and switching between them. But I can't seem to use style or style.font-weight as one of the state properties.
3. Creating two different layers for bold and regular text, and fading in and out between them using opacity.

Is there a better way to do this? Thanks!

Yeah...style properties aren't able to be animated. So creating two different layers and fading between them is probably your best bet.

Yes, by using a proxy layer:
