which layer should be staying in place?

Javier Eduardo Treviño

sketch.photoFeed ( the centered section with the cards)

Aalok Trivedi

not sure i understand. what area should scroll then? any layer inside 'photoFeed' is a part of that scroll component.

Javier Eduardo Treviño

the area with the material cards is suppoed to be a endless scrolling area ( a la Tumblr) and the dar tab menu i supposed to stay still

ah, ok. It looks like the tab bar is a part of the photoFeed group. If you take the tab bar group outside of the photoFeed group, only the cards should be scrollable

Aalok Trivedi

can you share your project?

Javier Eduardo Treviño

I'm a beginner, how do I do that?

Aalok Trivedi

hit the 'share' button in the menu bar and it will copy a link to your clipboard

Javier Eduardo Treviño

I tried to do it but it fialed

Javier Eduardo Treviño

I'm gonna keep trying.. the menu is not the same group but it wasn't in A group

Aalok Trivedi

ah that may be why. Try putting it into a group so you can access it in framer. any layer that is not in a group won't be recognized in framer

Sketch.tabs.parent = null
