Cheers to the new Framer! Are there any thoughts around visually surfacing states? #unsoliciteddesign
Hmz, can't say that I've had them. What would your ideal use case be? If you click on the layer the codeview jumps to its instances.
Mainly its for keeping track of states. I find that most of my prototypes are driven by state changes and sometimes its hard to know at any given moment what the current state is on each layer. There have been more than a couple times when a prototype got so complex that I had to write a print statement to get the state of certain layers.
it could be nice to edit the state from the popover too. It's sometimes frustrating to find the layer state section in your code.
Gotcha, thanks for helping me understand your thinking.
I like this idea a lot.
Totally agree. It's great that optimizing the layer properties in the new studio is leading to further thoughts on making everything even easier!
