I am doing a little slideshow using PageComponent for a client presentation. I want to be able to use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move through the slideshow (left/right), so I am listening for keydown events. This works fine, except that in Framer Studio, I get feedback sounds whenever I press the arrow key. Not so if I mirror the prototype in Safari, so that works "out of the box". Is there any way to avoid these sounds? Here is a stripped down version of my prototype (the keydown listener is towards the end):

Hi Ben Rodenhäuser. I'm having the same issue. Did you ever find out how to fix this?

Ben Rodenhäuser

Hi Jeroen de Jong, check out the solution provided by Jordan in his reply to the second comment above ... that is what worked for me at the time

Thanks! I am prototyping actual keyboard control, so using the right keys is important. My work-arround: turn alert volume to 0 (in MacOS prefs > sounds) :-)

Mute? I'll try something quickly.

That would be a last resort ... but I have video in the prototype.
