Hi guys, first post here. I have been playing around with Framer for a couple of days and am really enjoying it so far. Have hit a small snag though and am hoping you guys can help me out.

I'm adapting the 'swipe and scroll' example for my own purposes. Somehow the DirectionLockDidStart event on my scroll component's content.draggable is not firing. Any ideas why this is the case?

Here's the project:

Hey Kars :) This is a bug in the docs, the correct event name is Events.DirectionLockStart (without ‘Did’)

D'oh! Thanks Eelco Lempsink.

So that made my DirectionLockStart event fire. But I am still seeing some odd behaviour inconsistent with the 'swipe and scroll' example.

When I drag a layer inside the scroll component up or down, let go and immediately scroll left or right, the animation that is started on the layer on DragEnd isn't completed. The AnimationEnd event isn't triggered either.

For the life of me I can't figure out what is going on because I have more or less replicated the example exactly.

Curiously though, I updated a downloaded copy of the swipe and scroll example and updated it to the latest version of Framer and all of a sudden I am seeing the same issue happen.

Any thoughts?

Apologies for the late reply. I see what you mean, there’s something buggy going on here. A workaround would be to keep the older version of Framer that’s inside the swipe and scroll example, for now, and base your project on that.

Thanks E! Will try that.

How do I do this exactly? When I download the example it appears to be updated right away…
