EDIT: I could get the effect changing children layers positions as the mask moves + parent.clip = true, but I wonder if there is an easier way to do this on Framer.

I'm using a parent layer as a mask and want to move this layer without move the children layers. So while the mask moves, the only visible parts are changing by the mask movement, but children's position maintain fixed. How do I get this effect?

Could you share your prototype? I believe I understand the concept, but I'm not sure.

Hey Darin Dimitrov, here it is: http://share.framerjs.com/bz02mzcdya9e/

I'm on a mobile device and can't look at the code right now, but moving a mask sounds like a logical solution.

Yes... The problem was that the children's position is relative to their parent layer, so you'll have to recalcute children's position while your mask moves

You could always use a WebKit mask instead?

Márcio Ribeiro

How is that, Jordan?

Can you explain more on how you're moving the layer? Animation or are you dragging it?
