We just shipped a bugfix release v52. Please note that we changed the default layer.clip to be false. This might affect your updated projects visually. To update existing projects, select "File → Update Framer" from the menu.
For a full list of changes see:
When opening a project that is working fine in v48 I get 'Cannot read property 'toString' of undefined'...
Luca could you share the code so I can investigate? [email protected].
I also have the 'toString" error message in a project. I didn't get that before the bugfix release. And I have sent email to [email protected] :-)
Same... VR component doesn't seem to be working either.
My kingdom for an inspector traceback, I can't reproduce it here :-)
Like this (but then the actual error):
Koen Bok It's weird: get error flagged in studio, but inspector is empty... For VR, no errors thrown -- images just won't load.
I just updated and now I'm getting "SyntaxError: Unexpected EOF ReferenceError: Can't find variable: FramerStudio". Also, did spaces in layer names change for Sketch import? I was working with no underscores and now I need to rename everything with underscores. Thanks in advance.
Ok shoot. I know what this is. A merge gone wrong. Pushing new version now.
Koen, could it be IDE related? Beta (2745) with latest framerJS version doesn't give me this error.
Yeah it's an error in the editor code (transpiler/inferencer) that is trying to figure out your code for autocomplete. The error surfaces the same way, so it looks like it's your code. I'll improve that too.
Ed Nepomuceno the Sketch spaces error will be fixed in the next release.
Koen Bok any news on the bug I reported a while ago on extreme choppy animations? :)
Ok it's live. The version will still be v52, but the build will be 2751. My apologies again. You can just check for updates in the app.
Luca not yet, but with this out the door I can pick that one up soon.
Thanks Koen -- files that were getting the toString error are working now. Just sent you note about the VR thing... still issues there.
I'll look into it!
Ok, I just updated, now it's working, except for a class I created... it seems Framer Studio has a problem on activating a state on window.addEventListener "load"... it's working on v48... how can I send you a 70-ish Mb project for checking it out? Maybe WeTransfer? :)
