Hey Framesters! I have never made or used a module, and I want to make a module for image content. Basically something I can stick into a project so I can pull 50 or so of the same images from. Do modules support assets in them or are they straight code?

So you want some sort of image/asset library to do something like:

button.image = assets("button")?

If so, I think the best way to do that is to host these images somewhere and then save those imageUrls in a new Object within a module. Totally doable.

If that's what you want to do - and please let me/us know - I could post an example of this approach in a couple of hours :)

Just add your assets to 'assets.coffee'.

You can, of course, also use local files but then you'd have to copy and paste those assets into every new project-folder. That's why I think hosting them somewhere (dropbox should also work) might be the best solution to your problem :)

smart!!! hosting them externally makes sense. Thanks Marc!

You can also base64 encode your images... but they'd have to be small otherwise you're going to have a gigantic file.
