It was a lot of fun learning new techniques from Danny, Jared and the team at the Framer NYC meet-up.

I shared my desktop prototype which had 2.5k lines with the group and got awesome feedback and solutions to a few bugs I was facing.

Jared also taught me how I can use animations into separate functions so that the code is much cleaner, smarter and less heavier on the system.

In my case, I was assigning a superlayer on every button to get the material ripple effect and Jared helped me create a function which I could call instead of manually assigning the superlayer each time (see images).

I intend to start using this in my workflow and am pretty sure I will come up with much better and bug free prototype next time. I am so grateful to have learned so much in just a few hours from this meetup. If there was something that I didn't understand (which were most things :P), Jared broke it down into the simple examples so we understood the whole thing.

Thanks a lot for hosting this meet-up Danny. Looking forward to the next one.

I will share the whole prototype once I am done with my submissions soon :)

So awesome!!! Love this stuff. Keep at it. It's pretty exciting to start to see this stuff come together.
