I'm new to Framer so this is probably a pretty simple problem but I can't seem to figure it out. I'm intending for everything to scroll except the start button and the navigation button. It's all contained in the ScrollComponent but when I change the z index to 0 the scrolling section becomes inactive. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Basically pull your start button out of the layer its on to not have a super layer.

Jordan Robert Dobson That seems to be a better way of positioning the button at the bottom of the screen but the content layer seems to still be scrolling over the top of the button :(

Thanks for the quick replies! I tried that and it doesn't seem to work for some reason :( Here's a screenshot of the app and code where you can see the content is scrolling over. Do I have the line in the wrong place? Also, if I uncomment out line 16 everything is in the right order but the scrolling doesn't work.

Throw it after you create the scroll component.

line 16 I think it just pushing the layer behind everything else... probably behind your sketch layer.

Jordan Robert Dobson

actually it'd be pushed behind your background layer... I think.

You shouldn't really need to mess with the index.

Perfect! Thank you. Putting it after the control component worked :)
