Twitch, a live streaming platform for games, just announced a creative channel. This could be pretty cool for live building Framer prototypes. Cool to help people get started, or to show off your skills.

I think I'd like to do one of these, maybe together with Benjamin if he's up for it. Any suggestions for what you'd like to see us make?

If you're looking for some cool examples of live building, see how Notch (from Minecraft) remakes Doom: or how Kristoffer remakes the MPC interface:

Great idea. Personally, I would love to see something like this from you guys. I've been considering starting a channel myself, seeing how I'm in my office after hours making stuff more than I'm not.

Koen Bok

Why don't we make some of that future spaceship ui of yours?

Edoardo Guido

Oh my goodness that's amazing, please do it guys!

Koen Bok

Also, if you just got into coding, and think that the best programmers must work very differently than you, watch that Notch video and you'll be surprised. Try... run... error, repeat.

Josh Puckett

Oh I'm in 👌

Giovanni Caruso

Chris Lee

Would love to do this!

Pelin Kenez

A Y Combinator startup, Sywork, started doing this a few months ago and they are great!

Marc Krenn

I think it speaks for the quality of your product that I just can't come up with a "sadistic" enough project for you guys to chew on.

Or maybe it's a lack of creativity on my part. :)

EDIT: No, wait! Got and idea: In reference to the "split window interface" proposal from earlier this week, I'd like to see you guys dream up and prototype a next-gen IDE UI for FramerStudio! I know, meta as fuck.

Koen Bok

Sadistic would be asking me to live broadcast fixing some random obscure osx application signing bug :-)

Christopher Welch

As a noob, I'd personally love to see you guys do this.

Jordan Robert Dobson

Awesome. I'd love to do more videos similar to the periscope hearts one I did up on

Jordan Robert Dobson

Or maybe even do a live one with my son Jonah directing again.

As a long time stream viewer I must add there already has been a java developer back on own3d somewhen 2012, before the founders got away with the funding money ;)

There have been few game dev streams over the past couple months on twitch - was very insightful, especially to realize that "you do not really work slow compared to other devs" - the usual fear.

I've an account there as well, now I may have a reason to stream some stuff ;)
