Hi fellow Framers, I'm scratching my head to figure out how to have the "x" on my "menu" slide down to close the menu when the user has viewed the menu? http://share.framerjs.com/e8yttaycr8lo/

I tried making the closeMenu attribute into a layer and super layer it's parent but nothing? There is something I'm doing wrong?

Line 56 has an error. Should be sketch.myMenu
Line 62 same thing.
Your close layer isn't actually covering the x button...

Hey Aaron Paterson - make sure when you're referencing layers in an imported sketch file to use the imported sketch layer with dot syntax - you need something like sketch.myMenu

How do I command the "menu" to NOT close when I activate the menu. I have to write some if else statement right?

Instead of using states.next(), use sketch.myMenu.states.switch('default')
