Hello framers! I've imported a Sketch file in which each layer has an image + text + an icon (just a shape made in Sketch). What I need to do is animate them individually. More specifically scale everything but change the color of the icon and/or the text. I understand Framerjs flattens everything into a png. This is not good news to me. Is there a way around it?

Framer doesnt flatten!

It's my understanding that Framer flattens everything in a group into a png? Is that not correct?

Martino Bilello create a group for each element you want to manipulate individually. So your image can be one group with one group for text, another for the icon. They will become 3 layers!

Make sure that they have individual names though! Like "layerAIcon" "layerAText" and "layerBIcon" and "layerBText". Otherwise you won't be able to manipulate them

That's the first thing I tried Marcelo and Anton. But what I can't do is import a layer and then modify it. In my case I have to import o square made in Sketch. The square is dark grey and I want to turn it pink. But I can only play with opacity and scale.

Ah.. I see. So you correct on you previous post: the imported elements are pngs, not shapes.

If you are interested in a workaround you can also try playing with filters. That will affect more the color / brightness etc ( hue / saturate / etc )
