is there a simple way to use the iphone's camera ?
I made this a while ago: http://share.framerjs.com/gsie0cc9fsgo/
It works correctly on a phone. On desktop the Hammer framework does not quite get the coordinates right, but the camera should still work if you use Chrome.
That one is actually based on Min-Sang Choi's great work, but his example if off-line
Hi Guus, thank you for you answer. How do you make it work on iPhone? On my iphone I have the Play button but not the camera's video.
I guess I'm the only weirdo with an android phone here :) Did not test iPhone. Can you try to install chrome and/or frameless to test?
I tried Safari, Chrome iOS and Frameless, none work :/
Too bad. I guess it's android or Chrome on desktop only for now then...
I wonder if the team at framerJS plan to add a simple function to do use the Camera,,
mine is not gonna be working well with iOS. I used getUserMedia for this particular example : http://minsangchoi.com/rearcamera.framer/?ckattempt=1 and AFAIK it's not supported by iOS/Safari. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/29160819/how-to-use-getusermedia-in-chrome-for-ios
It would be great to have some hardware integration for camera, BLE (for IoT), etc. just as seen on Form and Avocado...
Here's source file. I made a promise to share this and forgot about it. Pretty much belated but here you go : https://dribbble.com/shots/2210303-Camera-Prototype-with-Framer-Freebie
Min-Sang that's nice, unfortunately iOS users stay blind,,, thank you Apple :/
You would need to wrap your app in PhoneGap... or similar.
Min-Sang Choi Thanks a lot ! I had been looking for that source all day :)
