Has anyone found a way to get around the pixelation that occurs when scaling up images or Sketch layers?

It appears my image resolution is stuck at its initially imported state instead of allowing for flexible scaling.

Example: An image is 1920 x 1080 in Sketch when originally imported, but scaled down to a smaller thumbnail size. In Framer I wish to click on the thumbnail to expand the image to a larger size. Framer only acknowledges the image dimensions at the scaled down thumbnail size in Sketch, ignoring its potential to scale up while retaining quality.

Thanks!

Yes. Scale down initially, then scale back up to one. So always make sure the largest state is scale = 1 and for example start at scale = 0.6.

You can also animate width/height but that will not be GPU accelerated, so slower.

Thank you!
