I searched around and couldn't find anything on this. When I copy a layer, a semi-transparent blue 100x100 box appears on the copied layer. Does anyone know what it is and how I can get rid of it?

Code example please. :)

something4 = new Layer
something4 = something.copy()

This is the blue box that appeared. It doesn't move when I move around something4

I imported my layers, if that matters at all. The original layer doesn't have the blue box, only the copy.

Just do something4 = something.copy()

By calling .copy() it does the layer creation for you.

By doing something4 = new Layer you're creating a layer and then immediately abandoning it when you do something4 = something.copy()

Oh, I see! I feel silly. Guess this is what I get for copying text out of the Docs blindly. Thank you for your help!
