Sometimes, when I import a Sketch file, text layers that aren't wrapped in a group don't get imported. There are blank spaces in my prototype where the text should be. The only fix I've found so far is to either turn the text into vector shapes or wrap every text layer in a group.

Is this a known problem? Anybody else see this? It typically only happens if the Sketch file is somewhat complex.

That's the way Framer works: http://framerjs.com/learn/import/

"Every group, with a single layer or more, gets flattened and imported into Framer. Layers that are not in a group are ignored."

If you have masks and if these text layers fall outside a mask, they get clipped out.

Balraj oh. That… that explains it.
