I had a similar problem. Are you behind a proxy? If so, add 127.0.0.0 to the "Ignore proxy settings" box in Network Preferences.

Gabriel Lovato thanks for the tip, I am not behind a proxy, and I tried as what you said without luck... I am not sure is the version of Python causing the issue... no idea...

So after some Googling it seems that Framer Studio is trying to use an old Python version (2.6). I can fix this, but I'd like to understand why it happens. Have you installed a custom python version?

Dave Poon

I haven't installed any custom Python version, I only installed the Command Line Tools (OS X 10.10) for Xcode 6.3.2 package, but the Python version is still 2.6.9.

Koen Bok

That's pretty weird, because 10.1 comes with Python 2.7.6 installed. Anyway, I'll push a fix tomorrow.

Koen Bok You are awesome!! Even I tried to install Python 2.7.10 using brew, which couldn't solve the problem. Currently I just hacked the run.py file and insert a 0 inside the brackets "wait_for_http_ready("http://127.0.0.1:{0}/_server/api/ping".format(port), ready_handler)" in order to get it work.

Fixed in the latest update.
