Is it possible to have an object animate along an arc or path? Being able to specify more than just x, y. Or do I just need to use canvas

I don't think you can do it with vanilla framer but I'm sure there's a JS library you could drop in to do this

Another approach is to rotate a superLayer and rotate its sublayer by the opposite amount. If the point of origin is offset from the center then you'll end up with an arc movement. Demo: http://share.framerjs.com/dsnwijodd1ny/
