Hi I just installed framerjs trial and trying to import Sketch to FramerJS. I created a square and grouped it, and have tried dragging to framer and importing as well but it doesn't show up. When I import it's giving me this error = "[framer.js] SyntaxError: JSON Parse error: Unrecognized token '<'

Any help would be appreciated, would love to be able to use framer js with sketch!

Could you save your project and try again?

Yung Tsai

I restarted both and have saved, still getting that odd syntax error.

I am able to drag desktop items like png's but the sketch import is giving me that error. When I drag a folder from sketch to framerjs, it just doesn't show up anything in framerjs.

That is very odd. Could you save the project, zip it, and send it to me at [email protected]?

Balraj Chana

This happens to me from time to time. Just restart your mac and try again.

Yung Tsai

Restarting actually worked haha, so use to MAC. Thanks Balraj Chana

Please, anyone, if you have this. Send me a zip of your projects (preferable with Sketch file) to support. I'd love to fix this.

Balraj Chana

You're welcome Yung! Koen I'll be sure to send over the files if it happens again :)

Replace with sketch = Framer.Importer.load "imported/square"

Bart Baekelandt

Restart of Photoshop and Framer solved it for me.

Stephen Crowley

Yes, happens to me once in awhile. Just saving the project fixes it or closing Framer and reopening the saved project.

I'll fix the error too. It's the json parser trying to parse a 404 page.

Koen Bok

This should be fixed in the latest release.
