Hi all

I have a weird problem here. I have set up my project in modules, and importing them works just fine. In the preview in framer app, all looks well and good, but when i display the project on my iPad 3, all the graphics are scaled up, looking all weird.

So i tried to set to scale 0,5, but it seems to cause some performance isuues?.

Hope somebody can help
Cheers

Did you set the zoom factor to 'fit'?

Michael Bing

Zoom factor?, can you please elaborate on it. Sry, i am fairly new at this ;)

Offir Gonen

In the Framer studio toolbar there is the zoom dropdown. Try and set it to fit. That way it automatically fits to you device view.

Michael Bing

Yeah, it is not that. But cheers ;)

Do you use fixed values to calculate your layers sizes, or the APIs such as Framer.Device.screen.width?

Michael Bing

i started by using fixed sizes, but then switched to screen.width.

Offir Gonen

A few posts ago a group member reported weird graphics using screen.width. You should try Framer.Device.screen.width

Koen Bok

Screen.width should work fine. Is there any way you could chare the project so we can inspect?

Michael Bing

Sure Koen, np. In a few mins i will send you. Just have in mind. This only happens when i import with modules.... not if all code is in the same file.

Koen Bok

That especially sound like something I should investigate :-)

Hi Koen Bok Sorry for not getting back yet, but we are in a crunch time lol. Thing is, when we work in Framer, the scale is 1, but when on the iPad retina, we need to be scaled to 0.5

Michael Bing

Koen Bok. Ok, i finally figured out what was wrong. At the time where i got all the problems, i was sitting in Xcode environment. When using Xcode, i had to scale content down to 0.5, and this was why the performance got crippled. Today, i was working directly in Framer Studio, and boom.... delete the scale, and all went smooth as butter again. Cheers @koen & Offir Gonen for wanting to help out though.
