So, I encountered something a little strange. I'm trying to implement something similar to the search bar in the Google Chrome app: search bar is in the middle and when you tap it, it moves to a different part of the screen and you can type in it. The way I do it is attach an input element to the search bar layer, disable it, and turn it on when it is tapped.

This works just fine in the browser on my desktop and on any web browser on my phone. But when I add the link to my iPhone's home screen through Safari and open it up using that link, it doesn't work. (Can't share what I'm working on at the moment!)

Is there something that changes when switching between using mobile Safari and opening up a link via the home screen?
