Maybe It's a dumb question, but I'm having a hard time getting out of the brackets and quotes. For example, if you type the single "[", the studio will auto complete the "]", but once you finish typing the stuff inside, is there a easier way to get out of the bracket instead of hitting the right arrow? It makes my hand travels a lot. Thanks!

Might work if you complete the right bracket yourself (which should just replace the one already there)

Erik Edhagen

i.e When the cursor is to the left of the right bracket, just type a right bracket

Ke Wang

Yeah it should be and that's usually the way many editor does But instead, the studio will add another right bracket you typed. And it's even worse when it comes to the quotation markes

Would be nice to be able to turn the autocomplete off in the settings or something

Joshua Tucker

Hey Christian! You can, it's under the View menu tab and I believe the option is called "Insert Closing Character" or something.

Christian Poschmann

Great! thanks for the tip Joshua, that does the trick!

Chad Lonberger

Had to disable this as soon as it was added also... +1 to having a closing character overwrite the autocomplete instead of duplicating it

We'll have improvements for this in the next update cc Jonas

Koen Bok cmd+↩ to jump to the next line would be super helpful as well.

Or if we could isolate the Framer compiling and preview into a separate app listening to file changes and then just use any text editor for coding.

Erik: also in the next update.

Erik Edhagen

That's awesome, Koen!
