Frameristos: the latest update to the Frameless iOS browser is in the App Store and ready to go! Bug fixes and the ability to automatically connect to Framer Studio if you're running it. Thanks to everyone who inspired with the Bonjour connectivity work and the folks who helped beta test.

Nice stuff dude! What's with the 17+ Rating?!? haha.. Couldn't work out why it's got that.. I've sent a link for this to all my work mates :)

Jay Stakelon

It's because of all the NSFW easter eggs I put in there. :p No, it's actually because Apple rates any app with "Unrestricted Web Access" as 17+. So Chrome and any web browser on the store, including Frameless unfortunately... all 17+.

I want an Android version of this so bad!

Chris Camargo

This is really handy. How does it handle having multiple Framer users on the same network?

Jay Stakelon

Chris Camargo not very well unfortunately. It'll connect you to the last Framer service that it finds on the network, and the Bonjour integration is still something I'm learning about so I haven't figured out how to best handle multiple Framer services on the same network.

Anyway, if you're one of many you're probably best served just texting and pasting your local IP from the Mirror feature.

Chris Camargo

I hear that, Jay. Great feature nonetheless. I truly enjoy the app. I'd love to just be able to scan a QR code from my screen in the future. Seems simple enough to implement in the Mirror panel, right Koen Bok? :)

Koen Bok

Yeah we can look into that.

Marcos Navarro

Does it store the Framer projection the app? Or just tries to cache them?
I've been looking for an app that let's me unplug framer so we can test it out on the wild.

Jay Stakelon

Marcos Navarro it doesn't store prototypes, but have you tried using the offline.html that Framer Studio creates?

Joshua Tucker

Jay Stakelon Unless otherwise changed, I think Koen Bok mentioned that he removed offline.html a few versions back until they could fix some problems they were encountering with it.

Jay Stakelon

Strike my comment about offline.html ;)

Marcos Navarro

That's all I want for Christmas this year

Koen Bok

Yeah we need something better for offline caching. The HTML5 manifest stuff is not great.
