First of all, thanks to George Kedenburg III who's been sharing some awesome tutorials about how to integrate Parse into Framer projects for heightened realism and general awesomeness. Inspired by these examples, I wanted to see if I could do something similar with Firebase to share with y'all.

Here's a working, admittedly somewhat rough, example I came up with. This prototype pulls popular items from the Designer News API and uses Firebase to keep a list of upvoted items. Firebase allows you to subscribe when items are added or removed and I use those updates to tell Framer when to update the feeds and items in turn.
