Hi everyone! Framer newbie here but loving it so far! I ran into a problem though: I set it up so when I click on a button, a flyout comes over it. The thing is that the button underneath is still clickable... Is there anyway I can disable it? Sorry if it's a stupid question!

You can use [layer_name].ignoreEvents = true on a layer if you want it to ignore any events on it.

I'd recommend checking out the Docs page on the FramerJS site. Lots of great info! And by no means a stupid question.

Oh thanks dude!! I've only spent a week with Framer, but it inspires me to learn more code. Keep up the good work!

Hey Jeff, welcome! So, in your click function that calls the flyout add buttonLayerName.ignoreEvents = true... false when you want to turn it back on. Let me know if that works for you.

Likewise Jeff! I'm sure you're headed to build great things.

Whoops, sorry about that- comments didn't load for me.
