Does anyone know how to more effectively manage states and events? I want a basic hamburger menu to animate when mouseover/mouseout occurs (not too bad), and then on click, animate and maintain a state.

When I click, I want to be able to move the mouse around the screen. But when I move the mouse, the mouseout event occurs. In vanilla JS/jQuery, this is a simple class toggle. But in Framer, there is only .next(), .prev(), and .switch(), which lack expression to manage state when trying to do anything beyond simplistic hovers.

How do you selectively manage states when trying to incorporate mouseover/mouseout with click?

If you give your menu a "clicked" state on click, just check for that state on mouseOut and don't change states if its clicked.
