And thank you for the help yesterday. My attempt to create a google style list is progressing. I was able create an onClick function that loops through and creates 10 list items.
I am now able to drill down 3 levels, this helped me understand the concept of nesting in coffeescript.
Currently I am trying to understand how to add text to each of my buttons.
Here is the link to the file on GIST
https://gist.github.com/stangrinapol/3fcd2da6e73dc4cb464b and labeled line 43 as I am assuming this is where the text would go. Although I am not sure how to do it.
Thank you in advance for all the help.
Hey Stanislav , here's a take on it:
I did some little modifications, to answer things that you will probably face next ( using a collection to hold each item on the list etc)
Let me know if it helps, or if I made it too complex, I can walk you through the reasoning
Marcelo Eduardo Oliveira Thank you for taking a look the code. The modification you made is Awesome! It's way different from how I was thinking about it. I was thinking of making it within the same level as the function, rather than creating array at the top level, just because it was easier for me to think in that way. The modification you made not only helps me with the current code on hand but also outlines how to think about arrays going forward. Simply put great exciting stuff.
That was the goal ;) Happy that it helps!
