How do you restore browser hover behavior? I know Framer disables this by default.

what exactly do you mean?

Brandon Souba

When you hover over a link then the cursor changes. Framer disables this.

"Normal Cursor" in Snippets (left top of Studio) make Viewer's cursor normal. but i think it's hard to make a link hover.

myLayer.style.cursor = "pointer"

Doing this over every hover event is somewhat tedious: (

Consider writing a function that applies some default hover behaviors

Sample application of the above

Also, you don't have to apply that style on hover - it's scoped to that layer already :)

You could probably also edit the HTML file with something like this in a style tag.

* { .framerLayer: pointer !important; }

Koen: It might be nice to expose a power user function for programatically inserting style tags for cases like this.

Shall I just add a utility function layer.hover(overFunction, outFunction) ?

Ryhan Hassan

Perhaps for clearer syntax, but I'm not sure if it's a better abstraction than "layer.on Events.MouseOver". It might be clearer if there were equivalents for other events, namely layer.drag(start, end, move) layer.touch etc etc

+1 to Ryhan Hassan

Yeah I think you are right. Maybe I'll just add one to utils like Utils.layerHover(a, b)
