Question: am I the only one that finds the 'snippet' term a bit confusing? From looking at the examples, snippets seem to actually be some sort of plugin… We just spent a few minutes trying to figure out how the whole thing works (docs?) and it feels a bit too complex. In other apps, snippets are "dumb" bits of content that get inserted at the cursor's position. Maybe we could have "smart" and "dumb" snippets?

Yeah maybe you are right. Basically a snippet is a CoffeeScript function that can modify your code. I'll try to write a little bit about it.

Thanks. As I said, we kinda figured it out, but it would probably be useful to have a "dumb" snippet type (maybe ending in .txt?) that simply inserted stuff at the cursor position…

I'll add that.

Snippets are really useful, but we had an issue figuring out how to create them. It'd be great if you could select some code, right-click and select Create Snippet, which allowed you to name it and save for later.

I also tried creating a folder in the Snippets folder thinking that would create a sub menu in the Snippets menu, but that didn't work. I did this mainly in an attempt to group Snippets of different types.

I second Juan Sanchez requests. They seems very useful!
