I was playing with some button animations using touch start+end events (scale down on touch start, scale back up at touch end) and thought I'd share. The touch-down spring animation—although it visually looks like it finished—blocks the touch-up animation from starting. So, I just had to force the previous animation to stop before starting the new one, and it works as expected now.

If anyone has an easier way to do this, I'd love to know it :-)

You can stop all animations on a layer with layer.animateStop()
http://framerjs.com/docs/#layer.animateStop

Or you can use states, I find them more reliable for repeated uses.
