where is framer mac app?
http://framerjs.com/ click the green "Free Trial" button
I downloaded the Frame iOS app and it asks me for the "Frame for Mac" App, I am confused :|
Clicking the green button on the website will download Framer for Mac to your desktop. You need to be on your Mac to download it.
Here's a direct download link http://studio.update.framerjs.com/static/downloads/Framer%20Studio-1.8.2.zip
I have the Framer Studio, but i can't connect to the Frame iOS app although my both devices are on same wifi network.
when i click connect manually it prompt me to scan QR code but i can't find this function on Framer Studio.
Oh I see. You shouldn't need an iOS app.
In Framer Studio, click the "Mirror" button in the top right. It will give you a URL that you enter into your iPhone with Safari.
ya, but Safari couldn't hide the status bar at top. :'(
thought the Frame for iOS app is made by framer studio team?
I don't think it is, I don't see anything on their website about it.
Nope, they are not affiliated. I dont Think the frame mac APP is anywhere to be found
Koen Bok can you add apple-mobile-web-app-capable to .framer projects when viewing on mobile so we can add them to the homescreen?
That's a different app (by me) you can find the Mac app at macromeez.com/frame I'm waiting on apple to approve my update with the correct link. I realize this might be confusing I'll try to clarify that it's not part of framer atudio
Also you can use a browser like clear to hide the top bar
Thanks for the advice! :D
downloaded. works great!
'open link in safari' -> 'add to home screen' works for me very well (don't use status bar on the mockup, that will be there by safari)
Nice detail: we generate random icon colors for each project you save to your homescreen on iOS :-)
Any reason FSMirror isn't in the store Josh Puckett?
Mike: my laziness knows no bounds :)
Not wanting to deal with apples submission process isn't laziness, it's sanity
