How can I easily have my app render all images/layers on load so they are cached. My prototype is fairly large and the transitions are not as snappy when calling the views.

And then I call all the views? Sorry, need a little more hand holding.

Exactly. This way, nothing fires until the DOM is fully loaded. I haven't used it but Koen Bok suggested this in this group before for someone who asked a similar question.

Also you may want to think about hiding the visibility of your layers until the completion of the function and then showing them so that you don't see anything onscreen until everything is loaded and cached.
