Is there any way to rotate the iPad Air Space Grey to landscape mode in framer studio? Thanks!

Just searched through the thread and realized it's a missing feature. Please let me know if it's updated :)

Can't wait for landscape to be added in Framer Studio as well :)

It's not "officially" supported, but you can go into the Framer Studio app files and copy the portrait PNG, rotate it, and include it in your images folder.

For now, I use Tisho's template: https://github.com/tisho/framer-templates

Just spent 20 mins trying to figure out how to get the iPad Air in landscape. This has to be next up in the new features, it's pretty basic in my opinion.

Joshua Tucker, how exactly does this work? I rotated the iPad Air in Pshop, saved out a copy of the file in the /Resources/FramerTemplate/images folder but I feel I'm missing a step to add it in the menu.

yea for some reason there's not template file shown when I tried to go to >show package content > resources

Johnathan Chan Chip Dong Lim You have to place the landscape file into your project folder, not the app (because it doesn't know to look for it.

The image is found in Framer Studio > Show Package Content > Contents > Resources > ipad-[mini or air]-spacegray.png

From there, you take the image, rotate it, and include in in your images folder for whatever project you are doing --> framer > images.

Gotcha. I thought it was more integrated than that. If I understand correctly, it doesn't show up in the menu and won't resize the viewport accordingly. You need to import and place it onto the canvas while in fullscreen mode and do your work on top of the image. Is this right?

Joshua Tucker

Johnathan Chan That is correct.

John Chan

Alright thanks Joshua
