If I write something like this "sketch.Auswaehlen.properties = shadowY:5, shadowBlur:1" nothing happens. So I think it's not possible to add shadow to generated layers ?

I think you need to define a shadow color ?
sketch.Auswaehlen.shadowColor = "rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2)"

Nadine Han

Nope, no difference :)

Try to use :
sketch.Auswaehlen.shadowY = 5

Instead of :
sketch.Auswaehlen.properties = shadowY:5

I think it doesn't work with image layers, or does it work for you ?

Florian Pnn

It works perfectly. If you can copy/paste you code on pastebin.com I can have a look at it !

PS : Did you try File > Update Framer ?

Nadine Han

Yep, I've got the latest Version. I took the Framer Studio example and added the shadow, but nothing happens

Ok I've added the color property in the example and now it works. I'm going to try it in one of my projects....maybe I just didn't see it ^^

Ok it worked, but now I've got a small border between the picture and the beginning of the shadow @.@

EDIT: Ok, framer is generating an image with a 2px border while importing from Sketch
