is it possible to append html to a framer layer? I have a simple square layer and I'd like to insert html into that layer div using jquery / vanilla js.

can we append more than just text, like say entire divs? E.g: layer.html = "<div id='blah'></div>"

give it a try... all the examples on the framer site (that I've seen) only inject text

Tarun Chakravorty

oh wow, it does let you add entire divs. Although its not exactly appending. It remove any other stuff inside that layer and replaces it with the new html. Interesting.

Good to know. I think I will try to stick with images and Framer layers. It seems like that's really what its built for...

Altho it's nice to be able to quickly inject html if you need it

Yeah, i usually dont need it, but i was trying out something fancier like animating individual letters like this : http://imgur.com/BN0d1X9

Yeah you can add any html in there.

You can append HTML with Layer.html += "<stuff>". Keep in mind this will always append the new stuff to the end.

oh good point. I totally forgot about that!
