i created a new view and tried to make a textinput out of it which worked doing view.html = "<input type = Text>". how can i make it bigger? i tried using .style but this did not affect it. i want the font bigger and the height of the textfield. again, would anybody be so nice and push me into the right direction?

layer.html will add that HTML inside the layer. Using layer.style will style the layer itself, but not the input. You could simply add styles to your CSS file like: input{font-size: 30px;}

oh, that makes sense. any way to do this within javascript?

Yes, there are various ways. The quick and dirty way would be to add a style attribute to the input tag. You could probably also use jQuery's html builder features to set up the tag you want, or inject new styles into your main stylesheet from Javascript: http://davidwalsh.name/add-rules-stylesheets
