I'm a n00b, don't know how to make it run in Windows :(

Luka Marčec

What are you trying to run? FramerJS or .html file?

Daniel Alvarez

Actually I have no idea what to do to startup

Luka Marčec

I'll try to explain! Do you have any photoshop file opened and runing?

Daniel Alvarez

Yup, does it matter the version of Ps? currently running CS6

Luka Marčec

It's good to have the latest CS version. Now, download this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/35xdgbzc0otl2sr/FramerPS.jsx

Daniel Alvarez

done

Abdou Ghr

actually framerPS.jsx is not working for me as well, even when a PS file is opened...

Luka Marčec

Both of you, open Photoshop. Create new blank file. Create new layer, draw blue circle. Create another layer, draw red triangle. Save it. Drag FramerPS.jsx into the photoshop file. Let me know how that works for you.

Abdou Ghr

ok done, just a small interaction when I open the .jsx but nothing else, nothing like the mac upload thing...

Daniel Alvarez

Dude you're amazing! Thank You!

Luka Marčec

Abdou, check out where your psd file is if there is any folder with html file inside it. Daniel, is it working?

Abdou Ghr

perfect Luka Marčec, thanks for your help! Found the folder but different than the tutorial for mac :p

Luka Marčec

Great to hear that I helped you guys!

Luka I would love tips on how to improve the jsx for Windows.

Luka Marčec

First of all, I would like to thank you for creating such an awesome thing, I love working with framer! About the improvements, do you wish that I write my thoughts here or should I message you? :)

Koen Bok

Thanks. And thank you for helping people out. Maybe just start a new post here so others can chime in. I'm not a windows guy so I can't make a polished ui like on the Mac, but we should definitely be able to improve the jsx with sensible errors etc.

Luka Marčec

You can count on that, but tomorrow, since I'm going to sleep now. It's amazing to see that someone who created software such as Framer is so passionate about helping the community.
