Great update with css filters! Is there a way to specify a view as a html canvas object?

Or I guess, is there a way of specifying a framer View by using document.getElementById or document.createElement?

I think it'd be interesting to have a canvas view (new CanvasView) but for now yeah you could target views by name, which is the dom property Framer uses to name views.

You can also directly access the html of a view with the .html property. So something like myView.html = "<canvas id='hi'></canvas>" will insert a canvas into a Framer view.

If someone else needs this I made an example here: https://gist.github.com/koenbok/7012440
