Just jumped in to Framer and building a small point-prototype for evaluation. I'm trying to mask a view so that I can animate (right to left) only within that mask, after a click event is triggered.

Do I have to define my view as a scrollView to achieve this? I don't want user to scroll the contents (only want to occur after click event).

Got it working by restructuring my View heirarchy in PS so layers inherently mask the objet I want to animate on click event.

You can enable clipping on the container and size it so that it masks the views within it!

Cemre Güngör Is clipping an attribute of view? Not familiar with what you're referencing.

Cemre Güngör

Yup it is! View.clip = true;

check out the documentation on the site for views, should be there

Actually, changing the .clip property is exactly what Framer does to the view if you put a vector mask on a group.

Thx Cemre Güngör and Koen Bok
